Elliott Museum receives Community Service Award

The Hutchinson Island Preservation Initiative (HIPI) held its annual meeting at the Elliott on March 30, where HIPI President Dottie Lanci presented a Community Service Award to the Elliott Museum, accepted by HSMC President and CEO Rob Steele.

HIPI serves as a resource for all South Hutchinson Island residents to find information about issues that may affect them, their property or the island.

The panel of speakers included Deputy County Administrator Don Donaldson, Mayor of Stuart Meritt Matheson, Director of Martin County Public Works Jim Gorton, and Jacqui Thurlow-Lippisch, who is a board member of the South Florida Water Management District.
