Big things are happening at the Elliott…… and we can hardly wait to share what’s coming next!
From June 1 through June 14, our Main Exhibit Gallery and Upstairs Gallery will be temporarily closed as we transform the spaces for two brand-new exhibitions that promise to inspire, surprise, and spark conversation.
Behind the scenes, walls are shifting, artwork is arriving, lighting is being perfected, and our team is hard at work creating fresh new experiences for our guests to enjoy all summer long. While a little dust may be flying, the excitement certainly is too.
But don’t worry… the Elliott Museum is still full of wonderful things to experience during the transition.
Guests are warmly invited to explore our many remaining exhibits throughout the museum, discover fun and engaging workshops, attend fascinating lectures and special programs, browse the Museum Store, and enjoy all the creativity, history, and culture that make the Elliott such a unique destination.
And most importantly, be sure to take advantage of our convenient shuttle service to the beloved House of Refuge Museum, now proudly reopened.
Standing watch over the Atlantic since 1876, The House of Refuge offers one of the most unique and charming historic experiences in Florida. From dramatic shipwreck stories and fascinating coastal history to breathtaking ocean views, it is the perfect companion adventure while exciting changes unfold at the Elliott.
And trust us… what’s coming next at the Elliott will be well worth the wait.
We thank our members, guests, and community for their patience during this brief transition period and cannot wait to welcome everyone back for the unveiling of these exciting new exhibitions.
