Elliott Museum Celebrating 100 Year Martin County Historic Preservation
Join us for an inspiring evening as we commemorate 100 years of Martin County Historic Preservation during a special Open House at the Elliott Museum.
We are honored to welcome Sandra Henderson Thurlow, acclaimed historian, author, and lifelong advocate for Florida’s Treasure Coast. Her work—spanning books, lectures, and scholarly research—has brought to light the rich and often untold stories of our coastal communities, including the legacy of the House of Refuge.
Through vivid storytelling and rare historical images, Sandra will guide us through the evolution of Martin County, celebrating the people and places that have made this region so unique over the past century.
