ABOUT THE CABINET

The Elliott Museum hopes to inspire visitors with objects of curiosity and wonder, up close and in a personal way. Cabinets of Curiosity first became popular during the Renaissance and reached their pinnacle of popularity in the Victorian Era. Our cabinet continues the tradition with a wide variety of objects and artifacts such as a 1936 inaugural baseball, 1940 hamburger press, WWI compass and Victorian photograph. Opening all the drawers is a real delight for all ages!
