Join Elliott Museum Associate Car Curator John Giltinan as he presents interesting, in-depth topics about auto-motive history. A display of rare and vintage cars relating to the topic will compliment the presentation.
PONTIAC: FROM SILVER STREAKS TO WIDE TRACKS
John will explore how Pontiac emerged from and replaced the Oakland Division of GM. Hear how “Bunkie” Knudsen, “Pete” Estes, and John DeLorean refashioned the solid, conservative brand into the performance division of General Motors, winning multiple “Car of the Year” awards from Motor Trend magazine.
