Michael J. Marfleet – King Tutankhamun

Thursday, May 2 and May 16

Michael Marfleet is back by popular demand!

Enjoy a lively conversation with Michael J. Marfleet, author of Tutankhamun Uncovered – The Adventure Behind the Curse.

Inspired by frequently asked questions by the audience at his previous talks, Mike has come up with a whole new topic for his upcoming lectures—70 Days . . . The Making of Tut’s Tomb.

With the untimely and unexpected demise of the Boy King, the burial attendants of Tutankhamun faced the nearly insurmountable task to complete construction and prepare the riches of the King’s tomb within the prescribed 70-day period of the mummification and burial ritual.

Learn about the problems they faced and their creative solutions which ultimately led to the unique appearance of his tomb and its contents.

These lectures will take around 45-minutes plus time for Q&A. The dates, time, and lectures are as follows:

• Thursday, May 2 from 10 – 12 PM (70 Days . . . The Making of Tut’s Tomb)
• Thursday, May 16 from 2 – PM (70 Days . . . The Making of Tut’s Tomb)
