St. Andrew’s Episcopal Academy Art Exhibit
We value our students’ hard work, effort, and motivation to create original, imaginative artwork
EXHIBIT ENDS DECEMBER 10, 2020
The Elliott Museum is proud to present the artwork of middle and high school students from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Academy in its “Art Down the Hall” exhibit, which will run through Thursday, Dec. 10.
Among the school’s priorities: Valuing the students’ hard work, effort, and motivation to create original, imaginative artwork in a variety of mediums. Our art students use art apps, colored pencils, oil pastels, markers, watercolor, acrylic, tempera, and oil paint. Our visual arts instruction is designed to provide each student the desire to create and the confidence in their vision. Students are encouraged to be expressive and focus on the art making process. While integrating National Standards and guidelines, our art space is a safe environment for creative discovery and development of critical thinking skills. We are extremely proud of our art students’ dedication, self -motivation and artistic ability. We encourage you to come out and be inspired by their creativity!
Founded in 1970, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Academy offers a world class, transformative education, paving the path to success for generations of students. We prepare, inspire and empower students from PreK-2 through 12th grade. Our experiential learning model engages and accelerates learning for our students making them college and career ready. We deeply understand that the arts must be a vital part of our whole-child education.
