VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Annual Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 31, 10 a.m. – noon

Volunteer Veterans — WE WANT YOU for the City of Stuart Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony is dedicated to the remembrance of the men and women who sacrificed their lives in defense of this great nation. We take a moment to honor their lives and recognize the sacrifice members made in all national conflicts of war, including WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf Wars.

The Elliott Museum is inviting HSMC volunteers who have served in the armed forces to join us on the parade route.

Volunteers can walk with us, or as space permits, ride the museum’s iconic antique fire truck or another of our vintage cars that will be featured in the parade.

To sign up to be in the parade, call Amie Smith at 772-225-1961 or email her at [email protected].

The parade starts at SE Amerigo Avenue on East Ocean Blvd. and ends at Memorial Park. The ceremony at Memorial Park starts at 11 a.m., 300 SE Ocean Blvd. Stuart.

For general parade information, visit [email protected].

The event is finished.
