About this Chair

Frances Langford’s Outrigger Restaurant and Resort was built in the 60’s because she wanted to mix the cheer and joy, she had in performing at USO shows in Polynesia with her lifelong love of Florida water life. Her dream created the famed Outrigger in Jensen Beach which continues to run successfully today. This beautiful wicker peacock chair was a feature at her restaurant and when she was entertaining – which she did often – she would sit in this chair at the head of a table. Many locals still remember eating at the Outrigger seeing her entertain well-known celebrities while she proudly sat in this peacock chair!
