ABOUT THE TRAIN
This functional miniature steam locomotive is modeled after the 176-ton, Class D1-A Suburban Locomotive built in 1928 by the American Locomotive Company in Schenectady, NY for Boston & Albany Railroad. The original engine was used for commuter runs between Boston, Framingham, Milford, and Worchester.
