High Tea at The E makes the NEWS!

There are some afternoons that simply sparkle

… and our recent High Tea at The E was certainly one of them.

The Elliott Museum was thrilled to be featured in the Luminaries section of TC Palm following this delightful sold-out gathering that brought together more than 80 ladies for an afternoon filled with laughter, elegance, friendship, and just the right amount of champagne.

Guests arrived in stunning hats, stylish shoes, and cheerful spirits as the museum transformed into a charming tea-room escape. From English scones with jam and clotted cream to delicate tea sandwiches and irresistible sweets, every detail added to the magic of the day.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was a lively presentation by Amanda Fisher, who shared entertaining stories and traditions surrounding proper English tea culture… including the fun fact that Queen Elizabeth’s preferred tea was Earl Grey!

Of course, no High Tea would be complete without a little fashionable competition. Guests delighted in showing off their creativity during the Best Hat and Most Stylish Shoes contests, making the afternoon as colorful as it was memorable.

The beautiful feature in TC Palm captured exactly what made the event so special: generations of friends gathering together for an experience filled with charm, conversation, and joy inside the galleries of the Elliott Museum.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the wonderful sponsors and supporters who helped make the afternoon such a success, including Lorna Day, Ooh La La!, Treasure Coast Event Rentals, Maier’s Popcorn, The Tea Party, MaryAnn Ketcham, Vibrations Healing, and an anonymous donor.

Most importantly, thank you to every guest who attended and helped create such a warm and unforgettable atmosphere.

If the smiles in the newspaper photos are any indication… this may just have to become a beloved annual tradition at The E.
