Seniors from the Jensen Beach High School Falcons baseball team recently competed at the state finals. The state championship was scheduled on the same date of their graduation ceremony. Because of this scheduling conflict, they dressed in their caps and gowns and enjoyed a banquet at the Elliott Museum before the games began. The HSMC extends a hearty congratulations to the team for not only its successful run but also because the team has earned the highest GPA in the entire state! The FHSAA Academic Team Champion recognition program honors teamwork in competition and the classroom. The program recognizes teams in each of the Association’s sanctioned and recognized sports, naming an Academic Team Champion in each classification based off GPA.
