CAPTURE THE DRAMA OF A FLORIDA SUNSET IN PASTELS!
A spectacular sky. Glowing clouds. The colors of a Florida sunset spilling across the sea. Imagine capturing all of that beauty in your very own work of art!

Join the Elliott Museum for a special, full-day pastel workshop with award-winning artist Deborah LaFogg Docherty. In Pastel Dreams by the Sea, you’ll explore the beauty and drama of a coastal sunset, using soft pastels to recreate a breathtaking sky filled with luminous golden and coral clouds, soft blue tones, and the natural beauty of Florida’s shoreline.

Under Deborah’s guidance, you’ll discover how to work with color, blend and layer pastels, create depth and atmosphere, and bring the movement and brilliance of dramatic clouds to life on paper.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply looking to explore a new creative medium, this is an opportunity to spend a day immersed in art, learn from an accomplished professional, and create a beautiful piece inspired by Florida’s coastal scenery.

No need to bring your own supplies — EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!
