We’re thrilled to announce that Terry Gibson, Florida Programs Lead for DEPLOY/US, will be our featured speaker for the Water/Ways exhibit and will talk about what it takes to protect and restore our coasts and oceans.

About Terry Gibson:

Terry supports 13 partner grantees working across numerous environmental policy lanes, including water, land conservation, coastal management, fish/wildlife management, and renewable energy.

Prior to joining DEPLOY/US in 2022, Terry founded North Swell Media & Consulting in 2009, a company dedicated to promoting sound environmental policies and outdoor brands focused on conservation. His work has impacted fisheries management, coastal zone management, ocean governance, public lands, and climate/clean energy across all levels of government.

Before founding North Swell, Terry held editorial positions at Outdoor Life Magazine, Florida Sportsman Communications Network, Saltwater Fly Fishing magazine, and Surfer Magazine. His writing and photography have been featured in major publications related to surfing, fishing, hunting, and diving.
