1934 Hercules Delivery Bicycle … An unrestored beauty!

About this bicycle

This 1934 Hercules Delivery Bicycle was donated to the Elliott February 25, 2021, by Beverly Neal. At that time, she owned an art gallery in Mt. Dora, Florida. The bicycle complimented her custom designed bicycle jerseys she had been selling in the gallery for eight years. Most of the parts on the bicycle including the tires and carbine light appear to be original. The bicycle has not been restored. This bicycle originally would have been used to make deliveries for butchers or bakers. The double peg kickstand was an upgrade and allowed the delivery person to stand it up without tilting and spilling its load. The Coleman’s Mustard sign is also original. Colman’s Mustard is still produced today in Norwich, UK.
