1951 Indian Warrior Motorcycle … Original price $695

About this vehicle

Rushed into production after World War II, The Warrior was one of the last all-American made Indian motorcycles. Outdated compared to the Harley-Davidson, the Warrior was unreliable, unpopular and a major factor in the American production of Indian motorcycles ending in 1953. Nevertheless, a ten-year-old Warrior won the Greenhorn Enduro, a 500 miles race, in 1962. The Elliott’s Warrior has only been driven 426 miles and was a gift from famous 1940’s-50’s local resident, singer, and bandleader Vaughn Monroe.
