ABOUT HER CHAIR

Frances Langford, American actress and singer, she entertained troops with Bob Hope as an USO entertainer during WWII. For the last 50 years of her life, she loved to fish and spent many enjoyable hours on her boat, the Fran-E. The white leather fighting chair proudly displayed at the Elliott is from the Fran-E. Frances won 1st Place for the largest Dolphin caught during a fishing tournament. This is a particularly amazing feat since she was only 5’ tall and the prized dolphin weighed a whopping 50 pounds!
