ITāS OUR GAME: BASEBALL ‘A Huge vault of American culture’ in Elliott Museum’s baseball collection
Step Into the Heart of Americaās Pastime
The crack of the bat. The roar of the crowd. The smell of freshly cut grass. Baseball isnāt just a sport ā itās a part of our collective story. At the Elliott Museumās Baseball Gallery, youāll step into a world where each artifact carries the heartbeat of the game.
Here, signed cards, well-worn bats, and game-used baseballs arenāt just displays ā theyāre storytellers. They whisper of long summers, underdog victories, and players who became legends. From the Major Leagues to the Negro Leagues to the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL), these mementos honor the grit, glory, and grace of those who shaped the game.
Youāll encounter the names that echo through history ā Ray Dandridge, Hank Aaron, June Peppas, Jackie Robinson, Nolan Ryan, Ted Williams, Derek Jeter, Bob Feller, Ralph Kiner, and Babe Ruth ā and see the signatures that turn moments into history.
This isnāt just an exhibit. Itās a chance to stand in the presence of baseballās living memory ā and maybe even discover your own story in the process.
All permanent exhibits are included with Elliott Museum Regular Admission
