The Elliott Museum’s extensive baseball memorabilia collection
It is a “MUST SEE” exhibit that features an array of rare and historic items, including Mets spring training programs from the early 2000s, a signed Bryon Gainey Mets baseball card, and a postcard of Brooklyn Dodgers legend Duke Snider from the Hall of Fame’s 50 Years celebration.
Among the most treasured pieces is a 1916 property deed signed by “Shoeless” Joe Jackson of the Chicago White Sox — a remarkable artifact that adds depth to the museum’s storytelling.
Curated by Jes Robinson, Creative and Collections Director, the collection includes signed bats, cards, and balls from the Major Leagues, Negro Leagues, and the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Notable autographs include:
